How much will it cost?

It is smart to be educated about the cost of your healthcare. Bright Light will leave you with no surprises. Our pricing is honest and fair, and we can tell you up-front what your out-of-pocket cost will be. Just call our billing specialist, who will take the time to make sure that you get your exam, with the security of knowing that you won't get any unexpected bills, whether or not you are using insurance.

There is one guarantee-- at an independent facility like ours, your cost will be MUCH lower than at a hospital facility. As an example, an MRI at a hospital costs in the thousands, with your cost at Bright Light a few hundred dollars. Call us today. We can help you make an educated choice.

Is Bright Light Imaging different from the imaging that I would get at the hospital?

Bright Light Medical Imaging offers the same services as the hospital, but without their overhead costs, we are able to provide it at a fraction of the cost! Our equipment is state-of-the-art. Our staff is friendly and kind. At Bright Light, you will get hospital-level medical care, but with convenience, ease, and much more affordability. Our doctors are expertly-trained and are on-site to make sure that you get what you need.

I'm nervous about my MRI. What can I do?

Not to worry! We are experts at this! First, we have both high-field and open magnets. Open MRI is great for our claustrophobic patients, but some of our closed magnets are also wide and short, allowing for more open comfort. In either environment, we provide music, headphones, and other supports to make our patients as comfortable as possible. Our technologists are highly experienced and can help you through step-by-step. We are often able to allow a loved-one to stay in the room with you to make you more comfortable. Call us with any questions!

Do I need a mammogram? I'm confused about breast screening.

This is such a common question! Click Here for detailed information from our expert, Dr. Mendi, on how to maintain your breast health!

Do you do STAT exams?

We will do our best to accommodate urgent or STAT patients the best we can. Our scheduling may be limited by insurance authorization or patients who are already scheduled, but we promise to try our best! (Please note that we do not have on-call radiologists available on most evenings and weekends). At any time, if a patient is experiencing a medically urgent or life-threatening situation, they should call 911 or go to a local Emergency Room.
